If you happened to tune into Fox 10 Arizona Morning recently, you might have spotted some very familiar faces. The news crew dropped by our OG flagship store in Old Town Scottsdale, and let’s just say things got a little chaotic in the best way possible.
Our founder, Yoli, and the ultimate boutique girl gang got to show Arizona exactly what Conscious Coterie is all about.

The big reason Fox 10 reached out in the first place? Conscious Coterie was just named the Best Boutique in Scottsdale for 2026 by Business Rate.
What makes this award so incredibly special to us is that it wasn’t decided by a corporate committee or a paid press release. It came entirely from third-party, independent reviews written by real women who shop with us.
Yoli put it best during her interview: this win belongs entirely to our incredible staff and the community of women who trust us to get them dressed every day. We had absolutely no idea the data was being collected, which makes the honor feel even more authentic.
How a New York City Shutdown Turned into a Scottsdale Boutique
The reporter asked Yoli how this all started, and it goes back to 2020. Yoli and her husband relocated from New York City, partly because her health couldn’t take the cold anymore. New York had just shut down, and independent designers there had nowhere to sell their work. So Yoli started renting space month to month in Scottsdale, brought in their designs, and sold what she could here to support them back home.
What began as a lifeline for New York designers turned into Conscious Coterie.
The “Conscious” Clothing You Didn’t Expect
Most “conscious,” eco-friendly, natural-fiber clothing lines default to the same beige, neutral look. Yoli did the opposite. Same commitment to natural fabric, same respect for how it’s made, but with color, one-of-a-kind pieces, and accessories that make an outfit feel finished. She also recognized a need for cuts tailored to the midsize woman who wants to look good and comfortable. The woman who is done with wearing leggings as an outfit. Done with the oversized tee she throws on to disappear. She wants something that feels just as easy, but reads as put together the second she walks in the door.
She wants pieces that travel with her real life. The same piece she wears to lunch with friends goes to dinner by swapping the shoes and the bag. It packs flat for a trip. It breathes in Scottsdale heat that doesn’t quit until October.
That’s the whole point. Coverage and comfort don’t have to mean boring.
